In the suburb of Basel, in addition to our company, many industrial companies have taken up residence here as well. The proximity to the Basel border triangle – and therefore to Germany and France – allows us to operate quick and reliable cross-border haulage for our customers.

An impressive and efficient logistics infrastructure represents us at the most important gateway to Switzerland. 50 ramps, 15,000 m² of goods handling and warehousing area, and an optimal transport connection provide the ideal preconditions for haulage from the north with destinations in Switzerland and Italy.

The two Dietikon subsidiaries are situated in a favourable location – right on the motorway and close to the Swiss business nerve centre. At this site, we have a great deal of expertise in goods transportation logistics around the city of Zurich, as well as the 2-man logistics service that includes tasks such as assembly and installation.

Our head office is located in Berneck. Precisely for that reason, we see ourselves primarily as a locally anchored logistics company, but one that at the same time has an international presence. Also in close proximity to the border we manage here a state-of-the-art logistics centre with an area of 15,000 square metres and a versatile infrastructure as well as our own service station for trucks. In addition to our national and international transportation services, we also provide other logistics solutions such as labelling, packaging, and setup of sales displays. Berneck is also one of the two locations for the “Sieber Academy”.

Right by the border with Austria, we have our customs office with our experienced Sieber Group customs specialists. Situated in close proximity to our head office in Berneck, we can take over simple or more complicated customs declarations for you – for either imports or exports.

We have another site in Widnau, right at the border with Austria, which has its own rail connection.

With the opening of the logistics centre in Widnau in August 2008, we increased our warehouse capacity at the hub between Stuttgart and Milan and also Geneva and Vienna by 20,000 square metres. We can completely focus on your logistics here, and we primarily provide pallet storage.

Our “Sieber Academy” training also takes place at the site in Widnau.

With the support of the Aigle and Allaman sites, from our Villeneuve logistics centre, we distribute your goods and general cargo to all of Romandy and to neighbouring France.

The Villeneuve site has an extensive range of expertise and around 60 vehicles of varying sizes in combination with a state-of-the-art logistics terminal. Besides transportation services, we also provide leading-edge warehousing and logistics services.

Aigle is one of our three sites in the canton of Vaud. We use this French-Swiss logistics centre for a large customer, and we also offer solutions there for your business between France and Switzerland. We manage the Aigle branch via our organisation in Villeneuve.

Bedano is an important site for the logistical North-South tangents, located in the middle of beautiful Ticino between Bellinzona and Lugano. Bedano gives us an ideal platform for the regional distribution of general cargo. We also use our southern site to support our customers for Italian haulage. We transport all kinds of goods to and from Italy and we take care of customs clearance at the border with Switzerland. All in all, the warehouse capacity we have available, our expertise in transportation, and our experience in customs clearance make us the ideal logistics partner in Ticino.

As Chiasso is very close to the border with Italy, the transit and customs traffic is extremely important. The Swiss A2 motorway (Basel-Lucerne-Gotthard-Lugano-Chiasso) merges into the Italian A9 in the direction of Milan, which can be reached in less than 45 minutes. Therefore, for Switzerland, Chiasso is the central hub for import and export to and from Italy. We have expert customs clearance specialists available here for our customers. This site also ensures our connection for the national distribution or collection of your consignments, as well as providing warehousing options.

In our Cargo Service Center (CSC) in St. Margrethen, borders become interfaces – interfaces between the EU and Switzerland, road and rail, air and water, customers' needs and our range of services.

St. Margrethen not only offers the ideal interface between road and rail – our rail connection is part of both the Swiss and the Austrian Federal Railway network – but it is also a centre of excellence for ocean and airfreight.

Sieber Transport is represented right at the border with its own Cargo Service Center (CSC). Our freight forwarding services are therefore almost limitless. In addition to the logistics process, in St. Margrethen we also offer a typical duty-free warehouse.

Our site at Biberist is close to Solothurn and adjacent to a great many industrial companies. From here, our proximity to Bern and a good motorway connection facilitate our general cargo haulage to the business hubs of Bern and Solothurn and also into the surrounding countryside. With an impressive warehouse capacity of more than 20,000 pallets in high bay storage and a logistics area of 15,000 m², we see Biberist as an ideal site for Swiss central warehouse functions. Both our central position and our own rail connections make our facilities particularly suitable for this function.

Our Allaman site is in the canton of Vaud, in close proximity to Geneva and Lausanne. Like Aigle, Meyrin and Villeneuve, this site is one of our interfaces with Romandy and neighbouring France. We profit greatly from Allaman's position between Geneva and Lausanne. For these two business hubs in particular, distribution from this warehouse is of great benefit to you.
