2. Handling of personal data
The full extent of the collection and processing of your personal data is for specific purposes, and depends on numerous factors, such as the services you use, the services we provide and you use, and the nature and extent of the business relationship with you.
Personal data is defined as data that allows conclusions to be drawn about you. This primarily includes personal information (name, address, date of birth, contact details, etc.)
2.1 Use of links

2.2 Use of online contact form
The contact form on our website is used to contact us or to submit your comments, which will be forwarded to the relevant specialist department for the purpose of processing your inquiry.
In this context, first and last name, e-mail address and company, subject and your message to us are collected for the purpose of establishing contact and maintaining customer relations. We shall not pass on this data without your consent, unless this is necessary to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures.
2.3 Using the online application form
The personal data entered by you as part of the online application process using the electronic input form and thus provided voluntarily is used exclusively for the purpose of accepting applications for an advertised position.
In this context, your title, first and last name, e-mail address, postcode/location, message and attached application documents shall be collected.
Your application documents, even if you send an unsolicited application by e-mail (job@sieber.ch), will be carefully and individually reviewed by our Human Resources department at the company headquarters in Berneck. We ensure that all your personal data is treated confidentially, and is only passed on to the contact persons in the respective branches and specialist departments within the Sieber Group for which you have applied.
2.4 Using the customer login for document management and Customer Center
Our customer login is used to retrieve outsourcing documents (document management) and to record customer orders (Customer Center).
In this context, your data – which you have already submitted to us when registering via the login e-mail – will be collected.
2.5 Using the online course registration form (Sieber Academy)
The course registration form on our homepage is exclusively for registering for one of the courses we offer.
The following data is collected in this context:
Course, course date, title, first and last name, address, postcode/city, date of birth, “AHV no.”, driver’s license number, details of CZV recognition, telephone, e-mail address, details of your German language skills, details of your driving experience with a forklift truck, employer (address, postcode/city, supervisor, telephone, e-mail) and details of the invoicing address (employer/private).
We shall ensure that all your personal data is treated confidentially and is not passed on without your consent, unless this is necessary to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures.
2.6 Newsletter
If you receive a newsletter or take part in customer surveys, you can also withdraw your consent by clicking on the link provided for this purpose in the e-mail sent to you.
3. Disclosure to third parties
Personal data will only be passed on if permitted by law, and if this is necessary to fulfill a contract, to fulfill legal obligations, to respond to an inquiry or to carry out an order, or if you are interested in a position in one of our group companies.
Within the company, only those departments or employees receive your data that require it, in order to fulfill the contract, to fulfill legal obligations or to protect interests. If a group company fulfills these tasks, your data will be forwarded to the company concerned. If data is forwarded to a group company outside the European Union, we ensure that European data security standards are always maintained. Data is forwarded outside the European Union, for example, if you apply for a position in a group company outside the European Union or send inquiries to such companies.
Your data will not be passed on to other uninvolved third parties, nor will we sell it to commercial users for advertising purposes.
4. Data deletion and retention period
Your personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary and lawful; otherwise, within the scope of the retention obligations prescribed by law. With regard to your data stored by us, you shall generally be entitled to the rights of the disclosure of information of your data, as well as its correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. 6. Data security
The Sieber Group takes appropriate measures to ensure that personal data is adequately protected.
However, the Sieber Group cannot accept any liability for the security of data transmission on the Internet; in particular, there is a risk of access by third parties when data is transmitted by e-mail.
The use of the contact data published in the legal notice (“Impressum”) by third parties for advertising purposes is hereby expressly prohibited. The operator expressly reserves the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising or information material being dispatched.
Should individual provisions or formulations of this disclaimer be or become invalid, this shall not affect the content or validity of the remaining provisions.
